Yesterday’s feelings of yuckiness—nausea—remain with me, as
does the weakness in my left leg. By
early this evening, pains in my leg, right arm and hand, chest, and earache
increased to the point that my prescription-strength ibuprofen couldn’t handle them. So,
I did what I have been doing since I was a kid: I went to sleep (right after
serving the Kitty Kids their supper).
Alex, who as usual was sleeping on my lower legs, awakened
me about 11:30 PM to remind me it was past time for Sugar and him to go out onto
the patio. That is where the furballs now are, with Midnight watching them
through the Venetian blinds that are on the patio door.
Obviously, I did not get much housework done today. The
inability to move around severely hampers what I can do. Again I am reminded how much I need the caregiver services that Congressional budget cuts of Veterans Affairs took away from so many of us Vets.
I pray that tomorrow I
will have regained my mobility and that the aches that I am feeling have
dissipated.
